Main Points

  • Lewis Hamilton clinched the 2024 British Grand Prix, marking his first victory in three years.
  • This triumph signifies Hamilton’s 105th career victory.
  • Hamilton shattered Michael Schumacher’s record for the highest number of wins at a single Grand Prix.

Hamilton began the race in the second position, with his teammate George Russell leading. During the race, he surpassed Russell, but was then passed by the Mclaren duo of Lando Norris and Oscar Piasri. Nevertheless, Hamilton managed to reclaim the lead in the 40th lap of the race and held his position for the remaining three laps to secure his ninth victory at Silverstone.
